HOW I WORK

My Approach

01 — Story First

Every strong piece of content begins with a clear story. I look for the human detail, tension, or idea that gives an audience a reason to care.

02 — Strategy Always

Before choosing a format, I define the audience, objective, and role the content should play—whether that is building awareness, creating connection, or inspiring action.

03 — Create, Measure, Refine

I balance creative instinct with audience behavior and performance data, using each campaign as an opportunity to learn, improve, and make the next idea stronger.

What I bring to the work.

ABOUT

ABOUT

I’m Ivy Nielsen, a Social Media Associate, content strategist, and creative storyteller based in Newport Beach, California.

At Stack’s Bowers Galleries, I translate specialized subjects into accessible digital stories through social strategy, short-form video, photography, campaign planning, copywriting, and live event coverage. I’m especially drawn to the challenge of finding the human story inside a complex brand or industry—and turning it into content people genuinely want to engage with.

My background in fashion media and psychology shaped the way I think about visual communication, audience behavior, and creative direction. Before moving into brand social media, I styled and directed editorial photoshoots at Southern Methodist University, experiences that continue to influence my eye for composition, narrative, and detail.

Outside of my professional work, I’m building my own creator brand across Instagram, TikTok, and Substack, where I explore personal style, intentional living, routines, photography, and everyday storytelling. Across both corporate and personal projects, my goal is the same: create thoughtful work that feels human, looks intentional, and serves a clear purpose.
